N 44 19.231, W 074 07.389 - Best Western Mountain Lake Inn (Saranac Lake) - you can get good signal anywhere around the hotel or restaurant, although there is no encryption or warning about use of this wifi hotspot, I would advise your being a guest or at least getting a cup of coffee at the restaurant before using it.
N44 19.605, W074 07.879 - Chickadees in Saranac Lake has Wifi access. They charge $1 per 15 minutes. Chickadees is an art gallery on Main Street (up from the Blue Moon) with a cozy little sitting area for visitors. They also have three iMacs for people to use and host an informal jam session every Wed. night for the musically inclined. |
